No race specific parking is being provided for this years event. Local parking will be on surrounding streets or at the Oval North Parking area (Wilsons Parking). Recommended parking is at the Convention Centre, Festival Drive and then a short walk over the Riverbank Precinct Pedestrian Bridge leading to the Oval. Note that Montefiore Rd and War Memorial Rd leading to the Oval will be closed and King William Rd and Pennington Road will be restricted.

Start Procedures

The start for this years race will be on War Memorial Rd alongside Telstra Plaza and the Oval main gate. We are using a self seeding start line at the Adelaide Marathon this year and in an effort to alleviate conjestion at Bonython Park leading onto footpaths, wave starts are being considered. All potential placegetters (first 3 male or female) should please proceed to the front of the start group as these positions will be timed on gun time so need to go out first. All other competitors will be timed using net time which means your time only starts when you cross the start line. We ask that you assemble back from the start onWar Memorial Drive in the direction of King William Rd in approximate sequence to your expected finish time. There will be time boards giving you an indication of where to line up. Once the gun goes, please move forward and begin running across the start line. Course Map to follow shortly.

Drink Stations:

There are plenty of drink stations along the course. Drink Station tables will be well spaced. Water and Infinit will be pre-filled in cups by our volunteers and placed on outer edge of dedicated table for runners to pick up from.

Please discard all cups into the bin bags provided at the aid stations to help minimise our environmental footprint. Non-adherence could result in disqualification.

All cups used for the event are biodegradable and should be disposed of in the drink station bins marked “Bio Cups Only”. Non-Bio rubbish (gels) should only be thrown in the last bin at each drink station marked “General Waste”.

Please mark the following on your Special Drink. Download Special Drink labels for printing
