Prize money for winners The following prize money will be paid out to the Male and Female winners of at the Prepd Adelaide Marathon 2023. Prepd Marathon 1st Place – $2500 2nd Place – $1500 3rd Place – $1000 4th Place – $500 5th Place – $250 1st SARRC Member – $1000 Prepd Half Marathon 1st Place – $1500 2nd Place – $1000 3rd Place – $750 4th Place – $400 5th Place – $200 1st SARRC Member – $750 Saucony 10K 1st Place – $500 2nd Place – $400 3rd Place – $300 1st SARRC Member – $300 Saucony 5K 1st Place – $300 2nd Place – $200 3rd Place – $100 1st SARRC Member – $100 The placing is based on Gun Finish times. All World Athletics rules apply. Should the SARRC deem a race to finish as a dead heat the prizemoney for the two (or more) placegetters involved in the dead heat will be averaged between the intended prizemoney for those placings covered by the dead heat (for example, if first prize was $1,000 and second prize was $500 then in the event of a dead heat for first place both runners would both receive $750). Should the dead heat involve the last place to receive prize money then the pay out to both will be an equal split of the last prize money place (for example, if third prize was $250 and there was no fourth prize then in the event of a dead heat for third place both runners would both receive $125). NOTE The SARRC prizemoney only applies for memebers who do not normally receiev a prixe. So 5th plave will not receiev the First SARRC prize but the 6th place may be eleig le.
