Car Parking: PARKING MAP
Bonython Park has 1 paid parking area on the southern section of Bonython Park adjacent to the race village. This parking is controlled by U-Park and will cost about $8.50 payable on exit - card only. Please follow the instructions given by the parking volunteers so that we can get as many cars parked as possible. Fair warning that anyone who parks outside of the parking area in the park could be open to a strictly enforced $153 on the spot fine.
Additional parking is available at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre ($5) which is a short walk from the Village. If you plan to park there, it is recommended that you avoid approaching along Park Terrace as this section is heavily congested on race morning due to road restrictions.
Event Village:
The Event Village at Bonython Park will include Bag Drop, Toilets, First Aid and Coffee/Food trucks as well as Sponsors and SARRC Information.
Start Times:
Marathon: 6.30am
Half Marathon: 7:00am
10Km: 7:30am
5Km: 7:45am
Start Procedures
The start for this years race will be on Port Rd to ensure a clean open and fast start for all participants. We will again return to mass starts for this years event. We are using a self seeding start line at the Adelaide Marathon this year. All potential placegetters (first 3 male or female) should please proceed to the front of the start group as these positions will be timed on gun time so need to go out first. All other competitors will be timed using net time which means your time only starts when you cross the start line. We ask that you assemble back from the start along Port Rd in approximate sequence to your expected finish time. There will be time boards giving you an indication of where to line up. Once the gun goes, please move forward and begin running across the start line.

Race Bib Collection:
Pre-race BIB collection will be at Sportitude, Hindmarsh – 20 Manton St, Hindmarsh
Race Day BIB collection will be at the Athletes Village on Bonython Park – Port Rd.
- Friday 26/8 : 12pm – 6pm
- Saturday 27/8 : 9am – 2pm
- Sunday 28/8 : 5:30am-7:45am
Course Cut Off:
Course Closes at 12.30pm.
Drink Stations:
Drink Station tables will be well spaced to allow social distancing. Water and Infinit will be filled in cups by a volunteer (protected by a face mask and gloves) and placed on outer edge of dedicated table for runner to collect. There can be no spitting, no water thrown, no using a table if in use by another participant and no stopping at a table other than to collect drink. All empty cups to be disposed of within bins provided. Non-adherence could result in disqualification.

- We pre-order medals, and you will receive a finisher medal unless we run out. (We expect to have pre-ordered enough but can’t guarantee this for late Registers).
- If you were in the first three male or female finishers in any distance your achievement will be recognised at our Placegetters Awards ceremony.
- If you place in your ten-year age category you will receive an additional award at the Age Group Awards ceremonies.
