SARRC continues to work under the guidance of SA Health in order to deliver a COVID-safe event. Due to COVID-19, it is essential that you read and accept all conditions of entry included in the registration process.

Join SARRC for our 42nd Adelaide Marathon. With an AIMS Certified course, the Prepd Adelaide Marathon will be the first large State Marathon on the Australian Calendar for 2020.
Starting at and finishing outside the Adelaide Oval at Pinky Flat, 2020 will be an event you won’t want to miss.
Adelaide Oval’s North Car Park (access via Pennington Terrace) will open from 5.30am Sunday morning. $20 payable upon entry for casual car parking.
The Event Village at Pinky Flat will include Bag Drop, Toilets, First Aid and Coffee as well as Sponsors and SARRC Information.
Marathon: 6.00am (all runners will be given times after this time using their estimated run time)
Race Bib Collection:
Friday 18 September 8am-4:30pm – Joggers World, Upstairs 123 Pirie St, Adelaide
Saturday 19 September 9am-4pm – Joggers World, Upstairs 123 Pirie St, Adelaide
Sunday 20 September- No Race Bibs will be available for collection on race day. Please contact

Race Bib Collection is Self Serve in 2020.
All you have to do is:
- Meet the SARRC team upstairs Joggers World where you will find boards with lists on them.
- Find the Marathon boards.
- Find your name on the list.
- Note the bib number allocated to your name.
- Head to the Race Bib Baskets and locate your Race Bib.
Course Cut Off:
6 Hours. Course Closes at 1.00pm.
Drink Station tables will be well spaced to allow social distancing. Water and Infinit will be filled in cups by a volunteer (protected by a face mask and gloves) and placed on outer edge of dedicated table for runner to collect. Special Drinks (Stations 1, 3 and 6) will be placed on the last table at the station for runner to collect. There can be no spitting, no water thrown, no using a table if in use by another participant and no stopping at a table other than to collect drink. All empty cups to be disposed of within bins provided. Non-adherence could result in possible disqualification.

Need a special drink on course during your Adelaide Marathon?
You have the option to place special drinks at 3 drink stations on course, which you will obviously pass again on the 2nd lap. Organise your special drink drops by choosing a noticeable and unique drink bottle, marking on the bottle clearly where you would like it dropped, and we will organise for it to be there and ready for you when you hit that drink station on event day!
